It Would Be A Darn Shame If Bryce Harper Found Out Braves Players Were Mocking Him In The Clubhouse After Game 2
Interesting. Orlando Arcia, who bats 8th and went hitless for the Braves in Game 2, was taking shots at 2-time MLB MVP Bryce Harper. Out loud. Cackling. Emphatically. Around reporters. REPEATEDLY. Very interesting, indeed. So interesting, in fact, it would be a darn shame if this material got back to Bryce Harper and the Phillies to put on their bulletin board at the Bank.
ICYMI: The Phillies lost Game 2 and some people are coming at Bryce for his baserunning that ended the game.
Brutal, of course. But hat's off to Michael Harris for making the defensive play of the playoffs. Could/Should have Harper slowed down around 2nd to make sure the ball landed or ensure he had enough time to get back to 1st if it was caught? Obviously. But I still don't hate the aggressiveness. He got a read on the ball and would've been hailed as a hero at home if it dropped and he was able to barely score. That's what you get with the MV3. 100% all the time, every time. You just gotta allow him to cook and let Bryce be Bryce. Also, instead of harping on the best player in the game being overly aggressive in an attempt to win, how about we just don't allow 11 runners to be left on base. Like, never again. Please.
As for Arcia, good luck. Seriously, bro. Good luck. Might not prove to be wise for the 8-hole hitter to poke one of the best players in the game who also has a certified hard on for being clutch in the postseason.
Now tell 'em, Nicky.
See everyone at the Bank.
