NO HAT PAT BURIES A BOMB TO STEAL A POINT AND SHUT UP THE EUROPEAN CROWD!!!

What a fucking roller coaster of a day for Cantlay and the Americans. An afternoon session they controlled early looked like it was going to slip away as Cantlay and Clark were down 1 and in trouble on 16 and Rory looking at an eagle putt. No Hat Pat absolutely took that match into his own hands, making an awesome up and down for birdie to keep the match from going dormie. Coulda been a half point for Rory and Fitz right then and there and Cantlay refused to give in.

Then he darted one on 17 and buried the birdie putt after Rory hit a downright FILTHY pitch to make par.

He made a pretty big error on the greenside pitch there on 18, but buried a BOMB to inject some life into the boys and steal a key point going into Sunday. They were giving it right back to the crowd.

Even his bagman, the legendary Joe LaCava, got involved. 

I mean what is there to say about Cantlay. He was getting shit on all over the internet as USA floundered for a 2nd straight day. The European crowd was RELENTLESS, waving their hats at him every which way. There was no love for this man from any direction and he simply did not give a single fuck. Singlehandedly made tomorrow much much more interesting.

After the putt, he laid the whole hat thing to rest

The work is still cut out for the Americans, but there's hope thanks to No Hat Pat. Would be a huge mistake if we didn't send all 12 guys out there hatless tomorrow.
