Hard Hitting Journalist Isn't Afraid To Ask The Most Important Question We Were All Wondering During The Escaped Murderer Press Conference
I'll tell ya what--the fact that this trooper answered "no" so quickly is probably the reason why it took them two weeks to find this fucker. I mean when you're dealing with a criminal like Danelo Cavalcante, you have to be ready and prepared for anything. There was a non-zero percent chance that he could have ended up teaming up with another smaller fella and disguised themselves in a trench coach Little Rascals style. Unlikely? Sure. But totally impossible?
Not even close.
The fact of the matter here is that Danelo Cavalcante is just 5' tall. Shorter dudes are way sicker at hiding than taller people. That's just a fact. You can squeeze into way more hiding spots when you're that small. And if you're able to find a willing accomplice, you can cruise around with both of you in a trench coat and nobody would think twice about it. You can't do that with two dudes that are over 6' tall. You'd immediately draw too much attention to yourself.
All I'm saying is that life will often imitate art. The cops were in no position to 100% definitively rule out the possibility of Cavalcante continuing to evade authorities while going "Little Rascals Style". Fortunately there are still some journalists out there who aren't afraid to ask the hard questions and hold these folks accountable.
