WATCH: Dad of the Year Adam Sandler Cast His Entire Family In His New Netflix Movie

Stacy Friedman and Lydia Rodriguez Katz are best friends who have always dreamed about having epic bat mitzvahs, but things start to go comically awry when a popular boy and middle school drama threatens their friendship and their rite of passage

What an absolute gem the Sand man is. The guy spends the 90s and early 2000s making some of the funniest stuff, slows down on the comedy and drops some incredible drama on us and is now been with us long enough to have his kids in featured roles. That all goes without mentioning how he is the ultimate "If I eat, the whole team eats" guy of all time. Netflix has been offering him/Happy Madison 4-picture deals for $250 Million basically every couple years since 2015 and his whole crew has stayed involved from the jump. We're talkin' trips and steady paychecks for the fellas like Alan Covert, Kevin James, Schneider, David Spade etc. That's the god damn dream!

And now his kids, who have had cameos and tiny roles in his movies, are jumping on the gravy train to make some comedies as featured players. Beyond that being cool for a dad to do for his kids, this movie actually doesn't look half bad. We don't get a ton of coming-of-age comedies that hit nowadays due to a mix of "hello fellow kids" feelings from those actually trying and just a lack of care from everyone else. Why not let the Sandman give it a crack? It might blow chunks like a fair ammount of his Netflix collab movies but maybe this is the exception to the rule.
