Phil Mickelson's Brain Almost Exploded When Bryson DeChambeau Challenged Him To A Match Without Even Considering How Much Money To Play For

There's not a single time that Phil puts a tee in the ground that he's not thinking about how much money he's about to make with his next swing. This sick bastard doesn't even roll out of bed for anything less than a grand. And unfortunately for Bryson DeChambeau, he had to learn that the hard way.
Poor, innocent Bryson is over here thinking that Phil Mickelson would have any interest whatsoever in a friendly match. Put some bragging rights on the line, maybe play for a beer. Heck, maybe get really nuts with this thing and play a classic 5,5,10. But the fact that Bryson didn't even think about it before walking up to the tee box? Phil's brain literally can't compute that. Like his world just glitched out on him for a moment there. Bryson thought he'd walk a casual little 9 and now he's in the weeds before he gets a chance to put his glove on.
Sidenote: All these years later and Phil is still one of the best shit talkers in sports. Hitting him with the "when you're closed out you can press for half" before the first tee shot is all-time.
