Matt Fitzpatrick's Ace on The 15th Hole Shocked Himself

(DJ Khaled voice ) ... "Another one" .

Of course this happens to Matt Fitpatrick after I got in a fight with Jersey Jerry after claiming he was a fool to get excited about a guy making a par who is 9 back. Jerry said "It's only the second day" over and over again, and kept proclaiming "Wild things happen", and that "he's seen this guy move up 15 spots in a day no problem." Love Jerry and wish Fitzpatrick well, but I still thought he was nuts getting excited for a guy 9 back. 

Well how the tables have turned. Fitz just dunking it from deep right in my face. Sneaky cool moment here that he organically didn't know it went in. There was a lot of talk Michael Block's reaction was super forced and unauthentic when he hit a hole in one at the PGA last month... which I completely agree. He knew it went in. 

Here I really do believe Fitz knew he put it close but didn't expect it to go in and fed off the crowd which surprised him, and then immedately knew he drilled it. Very cool moment. Love this tournament, love hole in ones. 

PS- This course is getting WORKED by these guys. Winner on Sunday may be -20 or -25. Wonder if LACC will take that personally and absolute punish these dudes with pin placements for Saturday and Sunday as payback.
