Reports Are That Tom Brady Will Be Playing (Probably One Drive) Tonight

I know it’s ridiculous. I know it’s an overreaction. I know it’s preseason. I know maybe one professional football player is playing offensive line tonight. Guess what? DONNNNNNNTTTTT CARRRRREEEEEEE. We’ve been battling, literally battling, for months to see Tom Brady on a football field and tonight it looks like we’re going to see it. We’re going to be fortunate enough to see him run out of the tunnel. Hand the ball off. Maybe throw a pass or two. And that’s all I need. Just a little taste. Just a bit of the sweet stuff that I’ve missed and fought for, and served time for, for so long. I’m getting goosebumps just thinking about him taking the field. I’m excited to the point where I think I need a Deflategate every offseason just to get me this amped for preseason football. Again, I know I’m overreacting, perhaps I’m even being stupid since there’s no one to protect him. But the heart wants what the heart wants.
