TSA Needs A Universal Set Of Rules At All Airports
I have had enough of TSA changing their rules at every single airport and then acting all mean about it when we don't know what to do. They need to come up with a universal set of rules for going through security and apply it to every airport in the world. I feel like every time I go to a new airport, they all have their own different process. Sometimes I have to take my shoes off. Sometimes I don’t. Sometimes I have to take my laptop out of my bag. Sometimes I don’t. Sometimes I have to take my belt off. Sometimes I don't. Sometimes I put my backpack in a bin, sometimes it just goes right on the conveyor belt. It’s never consistent and the workers are always so angry and act like we're idiots when we don't know what to do. Makes me feel sad and dumb! And maybe we wouldn't have this issue if you guys didn't change the rules at every single airport. The workers are just always in a bad mood and they never take jokes well either. One time when my bag gets pulled aside for a search and they say “What do you have in here, sir?” I think it’d be funny to say “Uhh… not sure. I have contact solution could be over 4 ounces…. Oh and I have that bomb in there that might be it too." But I feel like they wouldn't take that joke well and I would likely end up in prison.
As a side note just in general, I do always prefer the tightest security possible. Can strip search me every single time if you want to. I have nothing to hide. I'd deal with an hour long security process if it assured my safety! (As long as the rules are consistent and no one yells at me).
Tommy Note: You may be thinking to yourself, "Hmmm Tommy... this feels an awful lot like a Thursday Thought. And it is....Thursday. Weren't your thoughts canceled by the company because you were draining resources?" Well you would be right. As I mentioned in the Smokes Season 1 finale, Tommy's Thursday Thoughts are coming back in 2023. But a little differently. Just one a week. 10 a week was making me run out of thoughts but I can do one a week. And it is all written, directed, shot, produced, and edited by me so I will no longer be costing the company time and money. And Ben Mintz can't stop me!!!!
