Railbird Music Festival's Lineup This Year Is Insane
Holy smokes. Talk about a STACKED lineup.
The Railbird Fest began back in 2019 and was forced to pause during the pandemic. They used to feature more acts spread across the rock and indie rock board- like Leon Bridges, Jason Isbell, Dave Matthews Band, and My Morning Jacket.
You've still got some heavyweights like Sheryl Crow, Weezer, and Marcus Mumford on the bill,
(sidebar - Marcus' new song is awesome)
but it's apparent they're leaning heavily into the independent country lane and their Kentucky roots.
You've obviously got big guns Tyler Childers
and Zach Bryan
as headliners, which is awesome. But layering in acts like 49 Winchester, Town Mountain, Cole Chaney, Sierra Ferrell, Charles Wesley Godwin, Charley Crockett, Molly Tuttle, Brit Taylor, The Local Honeys, rounds this out as well as any festival you'll find nationwide.
They are also moving the festival this year to a location that is right in the heart of downtown Lexington.
June 3-4th looks like we're taking a trip down to Kentucky.
