The Haters And Losers Woke Up Sick That Ohio State Once Again Earned Their Way Into The College Football Playoff

After USC shit the bed in the PAC-12 Championship Game last night, it looks as though Ohio State will once again make their way into the College Football Playoffs. The way God intended it to be.

This would be 5 of 8 years where the Buckeyes get a shot at the crystal football and the jealousy around the nation is palpable. Don't blame the Buckeyes. They have arguably the most talented roster in the country and their only loss was to the #2 team in the rankings.

Blame the Trojans' bum ass defense and the fact they couldn't keep Caleb Williams healthy. 

Blame Alabama for not being as Alabama-y as they normally are.

Blame South Carolina for cock-blocking not one but two different frauds this season.

There are countless teams that could have kept the Buckeyes out of the playoffs if they handled their own business, but they didn't. And yeah, Ohio State blew out a lot of mid ass teams this season but so did everyone else. It was that kind of year in college football. The top tier is head and shoulders above the rest.

And the Buckeyes are in that top tier.

Pretty wild that we are just a few days removed from people legitimately asking if Ryan Day should be on the hot seat as Ohio State's head coach. And now they have an even more legitimate shot at winning the National Championship. Don't believe me? Its already happened.

In 2014 the Buckeyes dropped a game early in the season to Virginia Tech and looked dead in the water for the first ever playoffs. After running the table the rest of the way and getting a TON of help everyone said they backed into the 4 seed and would be crushed in the playoffs.

They didn't. 

And remember last year? Alabama shit on Georgia in the SEC championship game. The Bulldogs still made the playoffs and went on to manhandle Alabama in the National Championship game.

So no matter if we get an Ohio State v Georgia matchup or a replay of The Game™️ it's going to be epic. It doesn't matter how much hate you tweet from your burner account.

And in two years none of this will matter anyway. The playoffs are expanding to 12 teams and unlike college basketball that is plenty enough. The 13th team in the country has zero shot at a national championship. If we're being honest neither did the team who was sitting the #4 spot as of last night. But the Buckeyes very much do.

So be mad about it all you want but Ohio State earned their way into the playoff. Don't hate the player, hate the game.
