Ranking The Greatest Quarterback Runs Of All-Time

I got to thinking earlier this week about the greatest Quarterback runs in history and how three very memorable ones came against the Vikings. I got a few replies and suggestions and decided to dig a bit deeper. I have a full top 10 list, but let's go through the ones that just missed the cut:

This run was so unique because it was off a bad snap. Bonus points to Tony Romo for picking up the 1st Down.

Not too many QB runs have a hurdle in them. A different element for sure!

This run flat out rules. All-time juke by McNabb.

Similar to the Romo run, it's just chaos in the backfield and the QB finds a way to eek out of it.

The distance (90 yards) certainly helps it's case, but Kaepernick also does a nice job with a juke and then destroying all angles. The speed at the end deserved some points too.

Bonus points on this for being in the playoffs, but incredible balance and finish.

This one was in pre-season, but it's too nasty to not count.

This is just incredible. The way he holds the ball and puts it over the defender's head to almost swim him.

This one was a huge moment in the game and mainly speed, but the angle destruction is awesome and it was his career highlight.

The only one in the Top 5 that isn't a touchdown. But it's simply incredible.

I stumbled upon this one in my research. Just an amazing play. I didn't realize just how elusive Steve Young was. It also has some similarities to the next play:

One of the greatest rushing Quarterback's career highlight. The angle destruction here where he outruns the rush and the two defenders smash into each other is perfection.

But this spin is simply too magnificent to not be up here.

But this one is simply the GOAT. The call definitely enhances it, but even without it, it can stand on it's own. Just look at all the missed tackles! Bonus points because it's a game winner, but it didn't even need 'em.
