"It Was Fucking Marijuana" - Nick Kyrgios Complained To The Umpire That The US Open Stadium Smelled Like Weed Yesterday

You really never know what you're going to get in a Nick Kyrgios match. It's a certainty you'll get 130 mph serves, awesome shots you've never seen before, and Nick screaming at his team sitting in the stands. The mystery revolves around what sets him off. Will it be a drunk woman in the stands, a ball boy/girl taking too long to throw him a ball, or maybe a bad call by the automated lines system? Well, yesterday we got a new one — complaining about people smoking weed in the stands

Turns out there was something to his suspicion…

As absurd as that sounds for him to complain about, Nick is a heavy asthmatic and he feared breathing that in could trigger it. Still hilarious the chair umpire had to make an announcement to the Louis Armstrong crowd to stop smoking. I had a friend in college who would get high and refuse to go anywhere in public. Imagine the umpire making the announcement and being that person stinking up the entire arena? Nightmare fuel. Maybe I need to make my way over there tomorrow? Was tennis Josh Gordon's true calling? 

Anyways, Nick won his match in four and is into the 3rd round of the US Open. He gets the tricky American JJ Wolf tomorrow where he'll be a hefty favorite. There's a massive collision course on the horizon with Medvedev in the 4th round. That would be must watch television no doubt.
