BARSTOOL FINANCE: You Might Like Bitcoin But You Will NEVER Be As Bullish As Intern Ian

In June Large and I pooled together $5,001 and started investing it. We're chronicling our every move on THE FAMILY OFFICE YouTube show/podcast/vlog/vodcast. We've invested mostly in stocks... although, on a percentage basis, our biggest win has been CT Lottery Scratch Tickets (950% ROI... nbd).

But as intelligent investors we know the importance of diversification. Which is why we wanted to dip our toes in the cesspool that is crypto.

The problem?

I know enough about crypto to say that I would have told you NOT to invest your kid's college fund in Martin Shkreli's shitcoin (spoiler: it dumped nearly 90% last week). But not a whole lot beyond BTC and ETH. And I'm pretty sure Large thinks Satoshi Nakamoto is the owner of the office building Hans Gruber commandeers in Die Hard...

Which is why we brought in some help...

Enter Barstool Finance’s intern Ian ‘The P&L Wrecker’ Becker and Brendan ‘Super Producer’ Clancy. They're two of my favorite guys in the office. Not because I particularly like them or anything, but because they'll actually talk markets with me. They joined THE FAMILY OFFICE to discuss if it's about time we dabble in magic internet money.

We dive into a few of the biggest crypto headlines (Martin Shkreli’s shitcoin, Tornado Cash, and metaverse real estate). Plus Ian and Brendan give some crypto picks for The Family Office portfolio.

Oh, and Ian's price target/thesis on bitcoin is worth the price of admission.

If the sight of Large makes you physically ill, you can check out the audio versions on Apple or Spotify...

Catch up on all the past episodes on YouTube…

And since I know some (most) you are here just for Large's "free GIFt"…

Does this look like the face of a woman who owes the Spanish government $15 million in back taxes?
