Very Cool: Jason Varitek Surprised A Fan Wearing A Jason Varitek Jersey At An Amusement Park

When a baseball player retires, it gives them more free time to be with their family. Some guys go on cool vacations, others sit back and relax, etc. But yesterday, former Boston Red Sox catcher Jason Varitek was at Canobie Lake Park in New Hampshire (shoutout Yankee Cannonball), when his wife pointed out someone else at the amusement park who was wearing Varitek's Red Sox shirzee...

The absolute LAST thing going through this guy's mind when he put on this Varitek shirzee yesterday was, "Oh, I'm going to meet Jason Varitek at the amusement park today." That's an awesome video, though, and it's cool to see how it all played out. He easily could have saw the shirt, kept it to himself, and moved on with his day at the park. Instead, he and his wife created a viral moment and made that man's day. Very cool.
