'The Godfather' and 'Misery' Star James Caan Has Passed Away

There are a few actors from the 70s-80s that always stand out to me as being incredibly badass. James Caan might have been #1 overall on that list. Sonny Corleone from the 'Godfather' and Frank from 'Thief' always stood out to me as being deep, but hardass dudes and that was all thanks to his performance. But he also had a ton of depth in other areas! 'Brian's Song', 'Misery', and even 'Bottle Rocket' and 'Elf'. Completely different types of characters that were also done extremely well.

He was a legend of the screen that will be missed terribly. By the way, it's not prestige TV or anything, but i loved the show 'Las Vegas'. Caan played an ex-CIA spy who was the head of security at a vegas casino and the show rocked. I used to watch it all the time with my brothers growing up.

If you want to watch some of his movies in remembrance, here is where to stream some of his best work:

The Godfather: Paramount+
Thief: Roku
Misery: Showtime
Bottle Rocket: HBO Max
A Bridge Too Far: HBO Max
Brians Song: Prime Video(Rental)
