Positive Vibes Only For Ole Miss Today!

It never was going to be easy.

Last night, Arkansas beat Ole Miss 3-2 surviving a heart stopping 9th inning to force a sudden death game today for a spot in the National Championship Series this weekend.

Ole Miss had the bases loaded with no outs down 3-1 and could only muster one run. SS Jacob Gonzalez hit one on a line but right at the Razorback LF to end the game. It was a gutting loss for the Rebels against their bitter rivals as they were oh so close to playing for the national title for the first time.

Ole Miss destroyed Arkansas 13-5 in their first matchup Monday night and I was clearly in a much different mood after that one.

I am catching  A LOT of heat for my comment calling Arkansas a trash fan base in the heat of the moment. They are the all time worst on social media and it is not even close. This is the SEC, it is not all roses. I know plenty of great Arkansas people but the bottom of that fan base ruins their reputation. I do admit they are extremely passionate and obviously love their school. Ole Miss has also lost so many heartbreakers through the years to Arkansas that I do not deny I am bitter.

Both teams are throwing their aces today in Connor Noland (Ark) and Dylan DeLucia (Ole Miss). Arkansas is favored on the Barstool Sportsbook.

The game starts early at 4pm EDT which is lame. Why the hell is this getting played in the heat exactly? First world problem at least. I have faith in Dylan DeLucia and the Rebels senior leadership (Elko, Graham, Bench) to have the boys ready to bounce back!

I have been waiting 21 years to see Ole Miss play for the national title. What better place than this? What better time than now?

Hopefully the next four hours fly by because I am already super edgy…..
