Channel Guide- One of the iconic figures in the storied history of Saturday Night Live, Chris Farley did everything past its limit. The documentary I Am Chris Farley (Spike, Monday, Aug. 10, at 9pm ET/PT) tells Farley’s hilarious, touching and wildly entertaining story through clips from his most memorable TV and film roles, home movies, photos, and interviews with the people who knew him best and loved him most, including Christina Applegate, Tom Arnold, Dan Aykroyd, Bo Derek, Pat Finn, Jon Lovitz, Lorne Michaels, Jay Mohr, Mike Myers, Bob Odenkirk, Bob Saget, Adam Sandler, Will Sasso, Molly Shannon, David Spade, Brian Stack and Fred Wolf, and his brothers Kevin, Tom Jr. and Johnny, and sister Barbara. Spike is also celebrating Chris Farley Day on Aug. 10 with airings of Tommy Boy and Black Sheep.
Just a little reminder here for you fellow Farley fans out there. Tonight is the night. The “I Am Chris Farley” documentary debuts on TV at 9:00pm ET. A must-watch for any diehard fans of The Man, The Myth, The Legend. Interviews with all of the people who knew him back then. Interviews with his brothers. It’s gonna be great. I’m also already preparing myself for it to be super sad during some parts, especially near the end obviously. But that’s part of it. If you read the The Chris Farley Show book I’m sure they’ll talk about similar things. His upbringing, his talent, his weight, his fame. It’ll be great. So tune in. I surely will be.
Your night is already set. Please cancel any and all planes you had. This is more important.
