Auburn's Ballboy "Blue Thunder" Breaks His Nose Running Into D-End At Practice
War Eagle Reader – Not even his road runner-shaming, T-shirt-inspiring, internet-crashing speed could keep celebrity Auburn Ball Boy Jake Longenecker from an accidental collision with 6?6, 243-pound defensive end Raashed Kenion.
The encounter at the Tigers’ Friday afternoon practice broke Longenecker’s nose, but not his sense of humor. After his nose was popped back into place he was taken to the hospital for treatment, but not before Instagramming a gruesome photo of himself, smiling through the pain, blood-stained shirt, one hand giving a thumbs up, the other clutching a towel and a bag of ice.
…
Wait…THIS is the replacement for Red Lightning? This is the new college football ballboy rock star? The kid who runs into his own players during practice and has to get taken to the god damn hospital? Man Red Lightning is just rolling over in his grave right now (like a metaphorical college football ballboy grave, he’s not dead obviously).
This is what happens when you come into contact with Red
You pretty much die while he hops up.
Rock solid frame and incredible toughness.
Meanwhile Blue Thunder is strapped to a gurney getting CPR over a bloody nose somewhere.
He may have the speed…
But a complete ballboy has the grit. So far that remains to be seen with Blue Thunder.
NEXT.
