FDA Permits Marketing of First Condom Specifically Indicated for Anal Intercourse

What a headline!

And here's proof I didn't make it up...

I read the whole (or perhaps "hole") article while on a plane so you don't have to, and there is nothing ground-breaking in the announcement.  The One Male Condom is being marketed as the first condom specifically indicated to help reduce transmission of STIs during anal intercourse.

However, the condom itself has the look and feel of that traditional contraceptive that we all hate to use but helps reduce the risk of pregnancy and the transmission of STIs during vaginal intercourse as well.

To be honest, I was hoping the One Male would have a dramatically different look from your traditional rubber... Either with their color, shape, or thickness.  That way, when one of those bad boys comes out of your (not my) wallet, the individual on the receiving end (literally) will have a crystal clear understanding about what is about to go down, and exactly where it's going.
