INSTANT CLASSIC: Georgia Southern Women's Hoops Hangs On To Squeak Out A ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTEEN Point Win

You know a couple shots fall the other way and we got ourselves a whole new ball game. Who knows what happens if Georgia Southern only scores 100 points. Maybe Carver Bible College - an NCCAA school - hangs tight and keeps fighting. Gotta think this game was closer than the score shows though. Then again, Georgia Southern could have gotten to 150. 

5-for-19 from three? Clean it up ladies. The best part though? It happened on Kids Field Trip Day! 

Great lesson for the kids. Sometimes you get your ass handed to you. Sometimes you aren't good enough to compete. It happens. Might also set some unrealistic expectations though. You can't win every game by 118. You can't go out and force a team into FORTY NINE turnovers. Impressive really. I do love the Georgia Southern tweet after the game though. 

Pretty sure it was also a record for margin of victory. Only other one I could find was 117 points, but nothing official. We'll count it. I don't care if they were playing a school that has like 200 kids. You play who is on the court with you. Georgia Southern played to the whistle. I applaud that. Instant classic. Can't wait to catch the replay.
