A Pro Gamer Missed The $400,000 Warzone Tournament...Because He Fell Asleep And Didn't Wake Up For 15 Hours
I thought I've seen it all from gamers, but this one may take the cake. Pro Warzone Player "Blazt" fell asleep at midnight and didn't wake up for 15 hours straight. Ultimately, missing the $400,000 World Series of Warzone, aka the biggest and baddest Warzone event of the year.
Blazt completely left his duo "Mutex" out to dry. Prior to falling asleep, Blazt and Mutex were one of the top dogs in the entire World Series of Warzone. They had a legit chance to place top 5 or win the whole damn thing. The winning team would take home $25,000 each plus an additional $1,000 each if their respective Captain won the "Captain's Cup."
So the first drop is happening and Mutex hasn't heard from Blazt all day. Nightmare scenario.
Obviously, once something like this happens and you can't get a hold of your teammate, your mind starts to wander because there's NO WAY someone sleeps through the biggest opportunity of the year, right?
Since Blazt missed the first game, he wasn't allowed to participate in the rest of the games. Mutex pulled someone from his chat named "Christophertremb."
Even though it already happened and it's over, I STILL can't believe this actually happened. Thank god Blazt was okay because we all were worried at one point.
Ultimately it left Mutex with no choice but to look for another duo to play with in future Warzone tournaments..
Sweet dreams, Blazt.
