The Braves Were Absolutely Hosed by MLB in the Postseason Yet Again
This was ruled an out. You read that correctly. Yeah, that ball that's sitting on the ground. Out.
National League RBI leader Adam Duvall at the plate in a Postseason game and that's called an out — it was pretty clear even to the naked eye in real-time that the ball bounced — and then reviewed/not reviewed because it turns out whether or not someone caught a ball isn't actually even a reviewable play.
As I'm typing this blog, Eddie Rosario just delivered a two-run single with the bases loaded and "two outs" to tie the game, which makes me even angrier about this shit now. There's no telling how well this inning could have gone if MLB didn't cheat the Braves once again. I'm absolutely sick of it.
Get rid of replay if we're still dealing with shit like this. That call altered this game, this series and the Braves' season. It's madness.
This game is under protest (unless we win).
