Who cares that the Padres season was a massive fail and theres a good chance they'll end the season under .500, we still get to see Fernando Tatis Jr. do stuff like this. Hitting a ball to deeeeeeeep left field and I mean deep. It bounced off the roof out there and out of Dodger Stadium, like not on the property. Only 5 players in history have done that, the others who did it are Giancarlo Stanton, Mark McGwire, Mike Piazza, and Willie Stargell. Decent group there. So much for that shoulder bothering him, it looked fine here. You know you get ahold of it when the left fielder doesn't move and the fans have to turn around in their seats to see where it went. 42nd of the year and it was an absolute bomb. 467 feet and it may be the last homer of the year, at least he didn't get cheated on it. He's been so much fun to watch this year and this is a perfect way to cap it off. Sure we would have loved to see them make the playoffs, but hitting a ball way out of a stadium isn't too bad either.
