Credit To Steven Van Zandt For Admitting The Tough Stuff - He Had A Temporary Addiction To Ménages à Trois' (Threesomes)
[Page Six] - Steven Van Zandt loved threesomes so much in the ’70s that he “developed a temporary addiction to ménages à trois,” he writes in his new memoir, “Unrequited Infatuations.”
“It was a real, sexually liberated time,” Van Zandt, 70, exclusively told Page Six. “The ’70s, there’s never been anything quite like it, honestly. It was just a wild, wild time, and women were truly, truly liberated there for a minute. I mean, it was a really wonderful time to be alive. So, you know, ménages à trois [were] not that unusual.”
Phew that had to be tough for Steven Van Zandt. Not everyone in the world can publicly admit they love threesomes. Takes a lot of balls to put pen to paper and admit that you didn't just like them you were addicted to them. Also he sounds identical to Creed when talking about the 70s. Also love how he just gets ahead of the story by saying he was addicted to them. A tale as old as time is a celebrity using the 'sex addiction' excuse, except this time it was harmless. The man enjoyed threesomes because it was a wild time and liberating. Tough to argue against that in the slightest bit.
Can we really be surprised? The man was touring with Springsteen in the 70s. No shit that there has never been anything quite like it as he says. It's tough to top that if you're a guy in your 20s and touring with someone like The Boss, especially on the Born to Run tour.
The craziest part is that he got over the addiction by meeting his wife. Not exactly sure how you quit a threesome addiction cold turkey. You can't just go back to one other person in bed with you. You have to slowly work your way out of the threesome phase of your life. Also I just assume you can't fully get out of that life. Once you become a threesome person, you are a threesome person for life. You can't snap your fingers and stick to traditional missionary style with one single person.
