We Should All Find A Friend That Will Smoke Us Up As We Sit In The Backseat Of A Cop Car
What's better than this? Girls being chicks. After seeing roughly infinity videos on the internet over the last couple of years questioning if mankind is absolutely doomed to destroy itself, this heartwarming video of friendship proves that humanity may have a shot to make it after all. At least until our robot overlords are ready to wipe us off the map.
Luckily we still have a couple of years before our AI becomes self aware enough to rise against us, so this act of kindness is proof that love is the glue that will keep us together. American pop group Captain & Tennille said that, so you know it's true!
To be clear, love will keep us together before the robots quite literally tear us apart with our own weapons that we created. But until then, it's nice to know everything will be OK as long as we have a friend who will smoke us up in the back of a cop car with a backup behind her ear despite all the bad side of humanity we see on the news and our social media feeds every single day.
Quick Related Story: In college I once had a friend get thrown in the back of a cop car for an open container during the Albany St. Patrick's Day Parade. Instead of taking him back to the precinct, the cops just made him sit in the patrol car as all his friends and countless other young college coeds were having the time of their lives drunkenly celebrating ol' St. Paddy in downtown Albany. I made it a point to never see the inside of a prison during my time in college or to be honest any other point of my life. But I honestly think I would've rather been at least in a holding cell with other people who got pinched for an open beer than watching everyone else drunk off kegs and eggs engaging in outright debauchery.
My friend is an asshole (I say that in the kindest way possible), so we all loved that he had to live in that partying purgatory for hours on end. I wouldn't wish that time of mental anguish on my worst enemy yet I love that it happened to one of my closest friends, who I would've fed a funnel of beer to if the Albany PD had bars on their car windows, which seem both excessive yet kinda awesome at the same time. Love ya Moondogg!
