I've Never Seen Barry Bonds Happier Than He Was Talking About His Dog Competing In The Westminster Dog Show
Okay, I'll say it. Barry Bonds looks great. Like he could still hit 30 bombs, have a .330 average, post an OBP of .420, and still be a cleanup hitter for any team in baseball right now. Guy looks shredded and great, I'd take him hitting 4th for the Orioles tomorrow. But this isn't about Barry, it's about his dog Rocky. Bonds and Rocky participated in the 145th Westminster Dog Show this weekend and obviously Barry being there was the big news. Look how damn happy Barry is to be talking about his dog, he looks like a proud father watching his son play baseball. Rocky the miniature schnauzer didn't advance as a winner of the group but you still couldn't wipe the smile off Bonds' face. Your dog just being in the competition is basically a win, it should count towards Bonds' career marks and push him further into the Hall. Name another guy who can hit over 760 home runs and still have a Westminster quality pup? Look at the smile on Barry's face, you think he gives a shit he's being blackballed by MLB? Nope, all he wanted to do was see his dog participate in the Westminster Dog Show and he did that. And before you ask, no his dog wasn't checked for steroids, no the dog's name isn't Barry Barks, no his dog wasn't some jacked up dog either. I feel like all the old baseball writers love dog shows, maybe this will get him back in their good graces and he can get some votes.
