AJ Brown Is Breaking Out All The Recruiting Tools To Try And Get Julio Jones To The Titans
Is this tampering? I think this is tampering. AJ Brown of the Titans made his plea to Julio Jones yesterday and let it me known he wants the legend on the Titans. As a Titans fan, I also want Julio Jones on the Titans. I'm not sure which wide receiver is going to switch jersey numbers since both Brown and Jones wear 11, but that is something they can figure out over a nice dinner. Brown recorded a TikTok to try and sway Jones to make it known he wants to go to the Titans. Obviously since he's still under contract with the Falcons he has 0 say in where he can go. You do have to respect the efforts put in by Brown to try and bolster the offense.
It looks like Brown is wearing a home made Titans "8" jersey made with tape so that may answer that question. I do love the pitch by Brown to Jones and he makes some good points. Ryan Tannehill? Good QB, good passer, good finger roller with the ball. Derrick Henry is super human, no confusing that. He'll probably get back-to-back 2,000 yard seasons with the added game this year. What's not to love about playing with him? Brown is coming off a pro bowl season where he was a monster, adding Jones to the offense makes them a wagon. If a second rounder is all it takes, send it over J Rob.
AJ also sent Julio a voice DM on Instagram to again try and sway him. Can't knock the hustle by Brown, and you have to love how creative he's getting with his recruiting tactics. Just have to hope the Titans can offer up something to make the Falcons jump at the offer. Now we wait to see what Brown's next move is on the recruiting trail.
