The NFL Has Very Quickly Corrected The False Report That Mike Kensil Was Fired

Maybe I’m alone here but I’ve been LOLing about this for like 20 minutes. It’s a beach time on a Sunday in the middle of the summer and it took Greg Aiello about an hour to correct this report which made the NFL look terrible, yet as far as the rest of the world is concerned that Patriots had 11 of 12 balls two PSI under. I cannot BELIEVE that people still have any faith in the NFL whatsoever. Honestly it blows my mind. Twice during Deflategate there have been reports that made the NFL look bad, twice Aiello “corrected” them in about an hour or so. Yet they actively let that idiot Mort’s report control the national narrative for over a month. Can people really not see this is a set up? Because it’s a set-up.

PS – My favorite thing is people saying “What does the NFL have to gain from making their most marketable player a villain?” I’ll answer that: everything. Literally everything. Brady was #1 in jersey sales this year and opening night vs Steelers then v Colts will be the most watched games in NFL history.
