Chris Mortensen’s Excuse On Why He Bailed On Dennis And Callahan May Be the Most Absurd Lie of Deflategate Yet

What planet am I on? Seriously what planet am I on? Chris Mortensen said he cancelled on D+C because they teased his appearance on their show? OH MY GOD NOT THAT! NOOOO! A radio show tried to drum up interest that they had a guest who is central to Deflategate and has been silent for 6 months. How dare D+C try to drum up interest! Poor Mort. There was no way he could have ever envisioned they’d ask him about Deflategate. Total blindside!

Seriously at this point I almost feel bad for Chris Mortensen. He got used like a used condom by Mike Kensil and now the NFL has silenced him and stripped him of all his dignity. Because make no mistake about it. It was not his choice to cancel. He would have never accepted this interview in the first place if he didn’t want to talk. The problem is he’s not allowed to talk. He knows too much. This interview was shut down by ESPN/NFL which is pretty much the same thing at this point. Just like when they made Bill Polian change his tune with Ray Rice. Hell Roger Goodell probably wrote that excuse for Mort and made him sign it at gunpoint. He knows that once Mort goes public it’s over for the NFL/ESPN. Sure John Dennis reported that Chris Mortensen told him Kensil was the leak, but they’ll just deny, deny, deny and probably smear John Dennis in the process.  They’ll say it was just the ramblings of an alcoholic. Bottomline is Chris Mortensen has been used and abused this entire process but this was a new low even for him. Being forced to write this ridiculous excuse and fake righteous indignation. His life and career are in absolute shambles. He has zero credibility, zero trust, zero reason to live. He’s now part of Hitler’s propaganda machine and he knows anybody who speaks against Fuhrer Goodell ends up dead.   And so continues the greatest cover up since Watergate.
