Tonight Is The Three Hour Bachelor Finale, And After That, We Can Finally Stop Talking About It For A Few Months
I KNOW, I KNOW. Even I am sick of writing about The Bachelor. For reference, we have been watching The Bachelor/Bachelorette for TWENTY TWO weeks now. TWENTY TWO!!!!! We had ONE week off between Christmas and New Year's, but because of COVID, they started 2020's Bachelorette season in October of last year and plowed right through until The Bachelor in January. Normally the Bachelorette starts in May and we have nothing in the fall, which it will do in 2021, and I'm THRILLED to finally have a break. First we had Clare drama, then Tayshia drama, then Matt James drama, CHRIS HARRISON drama...dare I say, we need some rest from the drama? It's been such a clusterfuck that I don't even like explaining what's going on to my friends anymore.
Finally, we have reached the end (for now.) Here's the drama we're expecting tonight:
- Matt James will cry a lot
- Matt will pick someone to be his "bride" (maybe)
- Emmanuel Acho will be making his debut as host of After the Final Rose
- Matt will have to address all of the Rachael/Chris/Rachel drama
- Rachael Kirkconnell will have to speak on the accusations made against her
- We might find out who the next Bachelorette is
Lots that could possibly go wrong here. If you're not up to date, check out last week's episode of Cutting Stems where we break down everything that's to be expected. We're almost finished, I promise.
