This right here is why this time of the year is the goddamn best man. You get to celebrate and go bonkers after the weirdest season in the history of college basketball. Texas State had to hire an interim coach in September because of abuse allegations to its former head coach. We're talking a month before the season started. That ain't easy to do, even if it's an assistant to interim type role. You have to change who you are to the players. Shit, you're fighting for your own career too. What does Texas State do? They go out and win the Sun Belt.
And this celebration? It's fucking awesome. Because it's 2021 Terrence Johnson couldn't bet there because of COVID protocols. So what does he do? Drive to the parking lot. You have to celebrate with your guys any means necessary. It's pure joy man. You don't think these kids like playing for him? You don't think they realize how fucking awesome it is to win a title? Just mobbing the car. You don't even care about a dent in this situation
