BREAKING NEWS: Previously Former Lacrosse Player Chris Hogan Is Now A Current Lacrosse Player, Declares For The PLL Entry Draft
DID YOU KNOW THAT CHRIS HOGAN USED TO PLAY FOOTBALL?
Holy shit. It happened. It has finally happened. At long last, our prodigal baby boy has decided to return. Chris Hogan, former Penn State lacrosse player, has declared for the PLL Entry Draft for this upcoming season.
Just the other day we saw the Atlas trade away Rob Pannell to the Redwoods. Many folks just immediately assumed that was because the Atlai have the 1st overall pick in the 2021 college draft and that they'd be using that pick to draft Michael Sowers out of Duke. Sowers plays the same position as Pannell, only he's younger and let's be honest--a little better at this point. But what if the Atlas got rid of Pannell because they knew they needed to open up a roster spot for Chris Hogan to go to work and were planning to take him with the 6th overall pick in the Entry Draft coming up?
I'd say that's a pretty damn good idea but does the 2x Super Bowl Champ even make it to 6? Does Lyle Thompson still go 1st overall to the Cannons? Or would the former Boston team decide to take the former Patriot with that pick? Or what about the Waterdogs? It only makes sense that the official Barstool team would have to grab Chris Hogan if he's available there at 4.
Either way, I've been waiting years for this day. This blog was from February of 2019.
Did I scoop Schefty by a full 2 years on this news? You're goddamn right I did.
And yes, in all reality I'm sure that Chris Hogan will be an average midfielder in the league and might need even regularly see the field. Doesn't matter. Chris Hogan is no longer a former lacrosse player, he's a current lacrosse player who used to play football. I just hope you all realize how lucky we are to be living in a world where we get to witness it happen.
Let's have ourselves a Saturday, boys and girls.
