NSFW: Gary Trent Jr. Was Damn Near Murdered On A Fast Break Last Night
First off, I would like to apologize for posting such a violent video so early in the morning. Not since Darren Rovell casually posted JFK getting his head blown off while people were sipping on their morning coffee has there been such a disturbing image posted at this hour.
But this is Barstool SPORTS and Gary Trent Jr. almost losing his life because of a reckless foul straight from the Bad Boys Pistons days simply had to be covered. There appears to be no word on if Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is in police custody, but I assume a lengthy suspension awaits if not an outright ban from Adam Silver for what is the most vicious thing I've seen on an NBA court since LeBron almost lost his life at the hands of his own teammate.
If this is indeed a flop as some people are saying, I have no choice but to tip my cap to Gary Trent Jr. for an acting performance worthy of an Oscar that Coach K must be proud of. He has no chance of winning any awards though because this masterpiece is about to sweep any and all cinematic awards in 2021.
If this was indeed a flop, I think Gary Trent Jr. has to change his name because sharing the same name as his dad Gary Trent Sr. after his pops had the elite nickname Shaq Of The MAC just seems flat out wrong.
