Shout Out Tho This Guy Who Walked Straight Into A Stopped Van While On His Cell Phone

I can already hear people saying, “God damn it we’re dumb.  We’re so fucking dumb.  We’ve become so useless thanks to cell phones and smart phones.  I mean come on!  Look up for a second, bud!  There’s a non-moving van right in front of you!  Eyes open!  There’s a reason our grand parents were the best generation of all time and it’s because they didn’t have iPhones.”  Well those people need to shut their traps.  Why?  Because that could happen to anyone of us.  I think I’ve flipped my stance on us being worthless pieces of shit with smartphones in our hands.  I’m okay with it.  To take it a step further, it’s time for some sympathy because I know for a fact I’m gonna run into a parked car or trample a small child and not notice or walk off a bridge while on my smart phone.  It’s gonna happen and it’s gonna happen to all of us.  It’s time we embraced having our faces constantly looking down at a screen.  Sure, we can laugh at that guy and that’s fine but just know we’re gonna laugh at you when it happens to you.

PS- I’ve said it a million times and will continue to say it.  Dash cams.  America needs them.  On every car.  Otherwise this moment (wherever it happened) would’ve gone unnoticed forever. It would’ve been nothing more than a fleeting moment.  Instead we have it forever thanks to dash cams.
