Kmarko's DraftKings Picks - June 8th

Welcome back to another week of our quest to get rich playing Daily Fantasy Sports on DraftKings. Been a rollercoaster ride so far but the picks have been solid lately so trying to keep the momentum going. Got a vacation coming up and those Pina Colada aren’t going to pay for themselves.

P Chris Sale $11.7K

Yeah sorry, not getting cute with this pick. It’s Sale and everybody else tonight. Sure I’m like the guy who bets American Pharoah at 3/5 or the guy who puts all #1 seeds in his Final Four. I don’t give a fuck. Sale is going to have probably 14Ks tonight and I’m not missing out on him. You want to give us a $5-7K off the board pitcher who is going to dazzle us with Sale numbers tonight be my guest in the comments.

3B Josh Donaldson $5.3K

Jays are probably my favorite team to stack tonight and Joey Bats is obviously someone you want to take a long hard look at, but if I have to choose just one for my picks here…I’m rolling with my boy Josh Donaldson. If you’ve been following along the past month since I started doing this segment, you know that every time I’ve featured Donaldson here, he’s homered. It’s like my only real talent in the DFS world is being on the Josh Donaldson homer wavelength. So I’m banking on the streak to continue tonight…and if it doesn’t, 4-4 2 2Bs and 3 RBI will suffice.

2B Kolten Wong $4.8K

Makes me physically cringe to pay 4.8K for Kolten Wong, the highest priced 2B on the board, but sometimes you just gotta roll with the Coors effect. I want to get some exposure to the Cards (with a 5.55 total) and 2B is real weak tonight so might as well roll the dice. Unless you want to dip down a little to Dozier, Wong has the highest upside of the bunch.

OF Charlie Blackmon $4.5K

Another series at Coors means everyone’s going to be loading up on Rockies/Cards bats for the run fiesta. And you can’t really blame them, the totals in these games are absurd and they rarely fall flat. But the price adjustments get real expensive and if you want to fit Sale or Hamels in tonight you can’t really afford to stack. The one guy that stands out to me is Blackmon who is still pretty well priced and has been hot lately.

OF Chris Colabello $3.6K

Ok maybe I’ll list just one more Jay here, but come on. No price raise for Colabello ever? The guy hits either cleanup or in the 5 spot for one of the best offenses in baseball and I think has one 0 point game all season. Incredibly consistent and high upside for this price.

….

As always feel free to tweet me your picks and hot tips for the night @kmarkobarstool, and keep an eye on the weather. Thunderstorms are a bitch.
