It’s Over For The Dallas Cowboys

The rumors started last night.

Dark, bleak news and I didn’t want to believe it. It couldn’t be true. With all the injuries the Cowboys have suffered this year, to lose a 7x pro bowler for the season? Just can’t happen. God is not that cruel.

Welp, it was nice knowing you 2020 Cowboys. See ya next year.

Despite all of the preseason hype around Team 40 Burger, injuries plagued this team from camp on. And this, my friends, is the final nail in the coffin. Too many holes in too many places and the ship is going to sink.

The Cowboys are now in full on Titanic mode.

I say this with all honesty. The ONLY thing this team has going for it is a high octane offense, and with a gaping hin the line for the rest of the season, Dak is going to spend more time on his back than a hooker at a political convention.

Pray for him.

Dak doesn’t deserve this. Zeke doesn’t deserve this. CeeDee Fucking Lamb doesn’t deserve this. But here we are, a quarter way into the 2020 season, and everything is fucked.

FUCK.

Say what you will about Mike McCarthy, but you can’t really judge his coaching when you’re basically running out practice squad players in the secondary and waiver pickups on the O line. And while I have my doubts (two fake punts in one half cough cough) I will reserve judgment until he has at least a half set of healthy weapons on his hands.

What does this mean for 2020? Means we’re fucked. What was a pretty clear path to the playoffs (even at 8-8) is now in serious jeopardy.

The season is over. Everything hurts. Most likely Tyron will retire after this season and the Boys will be in full rebuilding mode on the line and will have to shell out serious dough to protect their franchise QB… and in all seriousness, based on salary cap and how well Dak is playing, its looking more and more like that might be Andy Dalton going into the 2021 season.

FML.
