Dana White Says It's "Very Possible" Colby Covington Is Next In Line For Jorge Masvidal

Well, well, well - could we FINALLY be getting this highly anticipated matchup between former friends/teammates turned bitter rivals?! 

I know there were some rumors about the Nate Diaz BMF Championship rematch being next for "Gamebred", and the hype video Diaz put out this weekend WAS pretty sick....

….but as Uncle Dana said in that clip above: that rematch is gonna be there for Masvidal regardless of what'd happen in the Covington matchup, whereas the opposite is probably not true. White feels that after Colby's dominant performance over former UFC Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley, this is the fight to make, and now is the time to make it. It's hard to argue.

As I mentioned above/many of you probably know, Colby Covington and Jorge Masvidal were formerly teammates at American Top Team, and while Masvidal claims the reports of their "friendship" have been greatly exaggerated, there's undoubtedly a history there. These guys know each other. They hate each other. They're polar opposites. It's one of those stories that tells itself.

Even DC thinks you gotta do this next….

We'll have to wait and see, I suppose, but I'm already gettin a little hype for this one if we could get it before the end of the year.
