Which Three 2017 Movies Would You Delete FOREVER?
Click the hyperlinks to see both me and Jeff's rankings as well as locations to stream (or rent) the movies.
Column A (Logan, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Thor: Ragnarok): Logan is one of the objectively best comic book movies ever made, and Thor: Ragnarok is one of the most entertaining. That leaves Spider-Man, which is a very solid movie in it's own right, as the odd man out.
Column B (Blade Runner 2049, Get Out, Dunkirk): Blade Runner 2049 is not only better than the original in my opinion, but one of the better movies made in the last 10 years. The degree to which it was slept on is still insane to me, but whatever. In a genre full of schlocky trash, Get Out was revolutionary and stands out as being one of the most exceptional horror movies of this era. Dunkirk is, well, very well made! To me, it was in incredible theatrical experience. Nolan focused a ton on capturing the audio visual component and it paid off well. Column C (Lady Bird, The Big Sick, Logan Lucky): This column really sucks in particular. Lady Bird is one of the best coming-of-age movies I've ever see, The Big Sick is an incredible Rom-Com and Logan Lucky is an outstanding heist movie! I guess it comes to how they're parsed down. Lady Bird is probably the best overall of these three, so I'll save it off the bat. In the battle of the other two movies, I like rewatching Logan Lucky more. The accents, the actual heist, Seth McFarlane. Man…
