The Orioles Have Postponed Tonights Game Vs The White Sox

 

Two days in a row now the riots and burning of Baltimore have postponed the O’s game. I wish I could say something like “by canceling it the rioters are winning” , but just turn on the news- nobody is winning. Buildings are burning, businesses are being looted and destroyed, officers, journalists, and bystanders are being hurt, and all in all it’s just mayhem. It’s simply not worth risking it. For a minute there it looked like they’d charter some busses and make their way an hour down to DC and play the games there, but I guess there were logistic problems with getting that set up on such short notice. So here we are. No baseball and a city that is being protected by the National Guard. Stay safe Baltimore.

 

 

PS: So many good people live in Baltimore, it fucking sucks these kids with no direction or authority are doing this. It’s not about the case anymore. There were 7 days of peaceful protests, and now it’s spiraled out of control. Shouts to the good people of Bmore.
