Roger Goodell Says The Deflategate Report Is Right Around the Corner
Vs.
NFL – During an appearance with Charlie Rose on CBS This Morning on Tuesday, Goodell said that he thinks the results of the investigation will be released soon. “What we’re trying to do is just make sure we’re thorough,” Goodell said. “The most important thing here is: Was there a violation of the rules? And if so, how did that occur? We have a responsibility to the 32 teams — not just to one team, to 32 teams — and our fans, and the general public here to make sure that things were done fairly. I think it’s hard because you want to make sure you have all the information. One of the things that he would be asked to look for: Was it just one game?”
“And with the first pick in the NFL Draft the Tampa Bay Buccaneers select…. (Deflategate was a scam, I’ve fired Mike Kensil and the Colts deflated the footballs themselves and we will never talk about his again) Jameis Winston. The Titans are on the clock!”
That’s pretty much how this is going to go down if it goes down at all. The fact that we still haven’t heard shit about Deflategate is a joke. The fact Ted Wells still hasn’t spoken to Brady is insane. As I’ve said a billion times the NFL is just trying to figure out how to sweep this under the rug. How to make the greatest conspiracy since Watergate just disappear. Well what better way to release your findings than during the NFL Draft. A draft that is the same weekend as the Kentucky Derby and the biggest fight in a decade. That’s why Roger Goodell knows the findings will be released soon. He’s been sitting on them for 3 months trying to figure out when it will generate the least amount of publicity. Well this weekend is a 50 years storm. And the funny thing is all the big wigs in the league office don’t think I see right through it. I’m waiting Roger. Come to Papi.
