Half Manny-Half Amazing. The Machado Man. Brown Jesus. We’ve seen this before and we’ll see it 100 more times this season. Making plays other third basemen could only dream of. Must be so depressing when you hit it Manny’s way, full knowing that he’ll do a triple backflip to get to a ball and throw you out at first. Best defensive third baseman in the game right now, and I’m not even sure it’s close.

 

PS: It was a close play but as you can see below, the runner’s foot clearly was not on the bag in time. Great players make great plays.
