WOAH. There's Going To Be a New Bob Odenkirk and David Cross Sketch Show On Netflix

Deadline -  EXCLUSIVE: They’re back! Frequent collaborators and longtime friends Bob Odenkirk and David Cross have teamed for a new sketch comedy series, With Bob and David, which has been picked up by Netflix. The streaming service has ordered four half-hour episodes and one hourlong “making-of” special from the project, which has just started production. Here is how Odenkirk and Cross describe With Bob and David: After being dishonorably discharged from the Navy SEAL, Bob and David are back serving our country the way they do best: making sketch comedy. Four half-hours of brand-new comedy featuring all new characters, all new scenes and, most importantly, all new wigs. Odenkirk and Cross, who first worked together on The Ben Stiller Show, became cult favorites with their landmark 1995 sketch series Mr. Show With Bob and David, which ran on HBO for four years.

You know what’s great? When funny, talented people get together and make funny, talented shows. And that’s what we have here. If you didn’t watch Mr. Show you should do that, but even if you didn’t, you should know these two from Breaking Bad and Arrested Development. Now they are coming back together to make a Netflix show. Incredible. What some people don’t realize is Odenkirk has been a top comedy writer for years– he even wrote the Matt Foley sketch for Chris Farley on SNL. And David Cross is one of the funniest people on Earth. So yea, all in all, pretty wonderful news for long time fans of theirs or newbies. Everyone should be looking forward to their new show.
