Lucky Woman Got Pot With Her Sonic Order, Stupidly Called Police and Got The Employee Fired

 

WTOP - A Frederick woman says she was served a bag of marijuana with her fast-food order at a Sonic drive-in. The Frederick News-Post (http://bit.ly/1yTXRXX ) reported Friday that Carla McFarland says she found the little plastic baggie in a container along with the French fries she bought Wednesday in Frederick. McFarland says she complained to a manager and called police. She says a manager later told her an employee had been fired after saying the bag must have slipped from her apron. Franchise owner John Louderback confirms that the employee no longer works there. The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office says it’s investigating the matter. McFarland isn’t laughing. She says her two young children were in the car, within easy reach of the bag.

 

How does shit like this happen all the time? Really, it feels like it’s every other day there’s a story about pot being found in a fast food bag or on the burger or in the fries. It’s not crazy that it happens so often, it’s crazy that people actually call the police because of it. It’s like finding a winning lottery ticket on the ground and then handing it to the police. It’s idiotic. And now think about how many people find pot in their fast food bags and don’t call the cops. Makes me think there’s hope out there for all of us. You don’t even need to do the pots to be happy to see a dime bag in your fries. Kinda like when you get got a toy you didn’t really want in your happy meal so you gave it to a friend. If you don’t do the marijuanas, you know someone who does. Just give it to them. It’s really not that complicated. So now some poor Sonic employee was canned because of a mistake. And I bet they’re more mad they couldn’t blaze after work while eating some delicious, delicious Sonic. That’s the real tragedy in all of this.
