Florida Woman Arrested After Stealing Lobster Tails That She Hoped To Later Trade For Chinese Food

 
Florida – Police say they quickly cracked alleged shellfish shoplifter Nichole Reed’s plan for pilfered lobster tails. The 30-year-old Orange City woman, police allege, planned to trade the seven tails she stuffed down her pants at a DeLand Publix for some Chinese food. Or, maybe some prescription pills, cops say. Instead, Reed was arrested and charged with theft from a merchant. She remained in the Volusia County Branch Jail on Thursday. The tails she took from the store at 2400 South Woodland Boulevard just before 2 p.m. Wednesday were valued at $11.99 each, according to police. A store security guard told police he spotted a woman stuffing the tails into the front area of her pants. Then she left the store without paying. A DeLand police officer got a description of the woman and was told she was heading to McGregor Road. The officer spotted a woman matching the description, and later identified as Reed, in the 400 block of Holly Oak Boulevard. The store security officer was taken to the scene and said Reed was the lobster shoplifter. She waived her right to stay silent and agreed to talk to police, a report said. “Reed stated she entered the store with the intent to steal food,” according to a police report. “Reed told me she was going to trade the lobster tails to a friend and possibly buy Chinese buffet” or painkillers.

 

It’s a gosh darn epidemic down there in Florida. Jameis Winston started a trend that can’t be stopped. Stealing sea food from Florida Publix is like the new Beanie Babies. It’s a craze that’s sweeping the state. Can’t very well knock this chick’s hustle here one bit. I love what she’s thinking. I too wish we lived in a society where we traded goods instead of money. How sweet would it be to live in a trade/barter system? Everyone back living in log cabins n shit. This chick is just way ahead of the curve. She has vagina infused lobster tails, she wanted a chinese buffet in return..or possibly painkillers. Both kinda do the same job though right? Whenever you want to be sedated and not move from one spot for a while, you either load yourself up with General Tsao’s or Oxys, what’s even the difference. Regardless, when you want something like Chinese food, you do anything and everything in your power to get Chinese food. We’ve all done a lot more for a lot less.
