Sonny, The One-Legged Singing Philly Vet Who Had His Prosthetic Limb Stolen, Dropped "She Stole My Leg" And It's A Certified Banger
READER EMAIL: “She Stole My Leg”
What’s up Smitty,
I was tailgating at the Eagles game yesterday and the homeless guy whose prosthetic leg was going around k lot singing a song he made about the incident. I did the only noble thing to do: take a video of it on my iPhone and upload it to YouTube.
Enjoy.
FIRE ON FLAMES ON FIRE ON FLAMES. This may be our favorite one-legged crooner’s finest work yet. Felt like he Motown’d my soul back to Detroit in the ’60?s or the last time Detroit was actually not designated a demilitarized zone. The perfect love song for any amputee panhandler. Good to see he’s landed on his foot.
I still really want to know how Sonny lost his leg. Usually someone who has lost a limb has a great story. Things get boring you could always tell that one manly tale that involves the likes of a landmine in ‘Nam or a snowblower/bottle of whiskey mishap. Doesn’t matter if it’s a 99.9% Sonny had the limb amputated in the Battle of Diabetes, still need to have that confirmed. Also, that shoe on the end of the leg looks more comfortable than any piece of footwear I currently own. You win this round, Sonny.
CUE IT UP.
