2 scenes last night that just summed up the Mets season, and really their entire existence. Carlos Torres beating the fucking shit out of himself after giving up four fucking runs in the 13th. Jon Niese in the middle of a gem – 7 2/3 innings, 8 K, 1 run on 97 pitches, getting yanked by Terry Collins and blatantly asking “What the fuck is going on?”

Together they both sum up the 2014 Mets. Incredible starting pitching, atrocious relief pitching, and absolutely abysmal managing. Every Mets fan watching this team free fall wants to punch themselves in the fucking face. Every time Collins makes some bonehead decision, we’re all sitting at home saying “What the fuck is going on?” These poor bastards on this team are suffering through the same misery that we are. Its Mets Life in a nutshell.

David Wright must be like “what in the FUCK was I thinking?”
