Party Pooper Chased by Sword Wielding NH Man After Interrupting His Party for One
We're all starting to get a bit edgy as social distancing is in its second week, and the end is nowhere in sight. As we begin to cope with this new way of life by creating challenges galore and drinking ourselves into oblivion, the last thing you want to be told to do is to turn it down. Whether it's your eating, drinking, partying or music, no one, especially not your neighbor, should tell you to turn it down.
There are ways to react, there are ways not to react, and then there's Benjamin Leyland. A 47-year-old New Hampshire man, (probably) blasting 9 Inch Nails and System of a Down classics all-day, was DISTURBED by a knock on his door around 5 p.m. Monday evening. Leyland, who was just following the Hard Factor News #LOCKDOWNTURNUP advice, opened his door to find his neighbor, Party Pooper, standing there brow furrowed, arms crossed, and foot tapping.
When the neighbor demanded that Leyland turn down his music early that evening, Leyland responded the only way he knew how when someone comes to kill his buzz... Quickly grabbing a 2 1/2 foot sword! Leyland chased the Party Pooper through the halls of his own house (big mistake by PP running into Leyland's house) and shouted: "HOW YOU LIKE MY MUSIC NOW PARTY POOPER?"
Pooper escaped unharmed and called police who arrived shortly after and arrested Leyland on Criminal Threatening charges.
Though Leyland was probably just trying to tell his neighbor to mind his own business and practice social distancing, there certainly was a better way to do it. For instance, Leyland can buy Party Pooper a #LOCKDOWNTURNUP T-shirt from the Barstool Store to help get him in the spirit of the lockdown, as you should too!
Don't be a dick during these troubling times for everyone and let your neighbor #LOCKDOWNTURNUP in peace. If you're not a dick, and may have some elderly neighbors, be respectful and also buy them a shirt too! Not only will you be providing clothes for the elderly, but you are also feeding them as well. All proceeds of the #LOCKDOWNTURNUP T goes to Meals on Wheels which you can read about, as well as our #LOCKDOWNTURNUP essentials guide below.
