There Is So Much Hypocrisy And Fake Apologies And Back Peddling Going On Right Now In the NFL I Can’t Even Wrap My Mind Around It

I just watched the Vikings Press Conference on Adrian Peterson. 20 minutes of them saying they were just trying to do the right thing and public pressure had nothing to do with them reversing their decision for the 53rd time in 48 hours. I’ve literally never seen a bigger PR debacle than what the NFL is doing right now. Not just Goodell but the teams themselves and sponsors. Flip flopping all over the place like a dead fish. Fake apologies all over the map. Fake threats from sponsors like Anheuser Bush. The NFL hiring women off the street so they can act like they care about women’s rights. Like do you have a vagina? Good you’re hired! Basically everybody just blowing in the wind whatever way they think public sentiment is going. One second Adrian Peterson is inactive, the next second he’s playing, the next second he’s deactivated. Every time the Vikings giving a speech about their views and then just doing a 180 five minutes later. Same thing with the Ravens and Panthers. It’s like a choose your own adventure book with public sentiment picking what the teams do next. How about having a spine one time? How about having a back bone? How about making a decision because you think it’s the right thing and sticking with it. How about Nike actually suspending Peterson before they have no choice but to do it? Or how about they stand by him because they don’t think it’s fair what’s happening. How about instead of Anheuser Busch issuing self serving press releases about how unhappy they are with the NFL they pull their ad dollars till Goodell is fired.  Take a freaking stand and stick with it! The whole thing is comical. Newsflash to everybody involved in the NFL. Everybody knows you don’t give a fuck about any of these off the field issues except how it effects the bottomline so stop blowing smoke up our asses. Fire Goodell or go home.

PS – And just when you think you’ve hit the height of hypocricy FSU suspends Jameis Winston for the first half against Clemson for screaming “Fuck Her Right in the Pussy” in the student union. As Kmarko said who cares about rape allegations, theft or anything else. When you scream a famous internet slogan in the union that’s where Jimbo Fisher draws the line.
