If You Aren't Impressed By Gonzaga Making 23 STRAIGHT WCC Title Games, You're A Moron Who Doesn't Deserve To Watch College Hoops

We've reached the time of the year where two things happen. Gonzaga makes the WCC title game and people immediately start saying that Gonzaga is a fraud. Those people are morons. That's only way to describe them. They'll say 'well, what have they done in the NCAA Tournament?' They'll say 'they've never even won a national title!' The fact is Gonzaga is arguably the most consistent program in America over the last 20 years.They've made every tournament since 1999. They've made a national title game, which came down to the last seconds. They've made 3 more Elite Eights. They've made 6 more Sweet 16s on top of all that. Only 3 of the years did they lose in the first round. 

Those are all facts.

So is the fact they are sending guys to the NBA and now they are bringing in a big time recruiting class. The laziest thing in the world is actually believing that Gonzaga plays nobody and is some fraud program. I can't stress how absurd the stat is that they have made 23 straight WCC title games. The WCC Tournament hasn't been set up the way it is currently for the entire run either where the 1/2 seeds gets a bye until the semifinals. 

Oh and for those that like to complain about Gonzaga playing a soft schedule? They have 1 more quad 1 win than Duke. They've played 1 less quad 1 game than Duke as of this moment. Hell, one of Gonzaga's quad 3 wins is UNC because they suck. Not Gonzaga's fault. 

The fact is Gonzaga has made 23 consecutive conference title games. That's fucking absurd. The league has gotten better as the years have gone on too. Throw in the fact that these teams know each other so well and play each other twice already in the regular season, it's such an absurd stat.
