The UA police are investigating Rembielak for menacing.“The victim states that during a baseball game, he was standing on the bench watching the game. He states his coach grabbed the back of his jacket collar and pulled him back. At that point, the victim states the suspect shoved him and challenged him to a fight,” according to the report.UA Director of Athletics Tom Wistrcill received notice of the incident the day after. The following day Rembielak removed himself from coaching duties.

Without knowing anything about this story or what happened I know the coach is 1,000 percent right. This kid was probably mad about his playing time and was being an asshole on the bench so coach Rembielak challenged him to a fight. That’s totally legit in my book. I know I always bring this up but my old baseball coach used to challenge people to fights once a week. Nobody gave a fuck. And if you really wanted to fight him he would have fought you and dropped you in a heartbeat. I still remember getting in an argument with him about secondary leads and I was clearly winning the verbal discussion and he knew it. So he said “you may be able to beat me in a war of words, but can you beat me in a fight?” FYI there is no comeback for that.  Total alpha male move.  You just shut up and go on your way. No suing people, not suspensions. Just shut up and play ball.
